2.Construction

The element consists of two layers of fibreglass media, supported by galvanized steel support mesh both upstream and downstream. End caps as well as the (perforated) inner- and outer-core are made from galvanized steel. The filter material is sealed at both the end caps using a high-temperature epoxy sealant. The sealing on both ends is provided by a viton o-ring.

3.Pressure drop and element replacement

Initial pressure drop, clean & dry, is less than 200 mbar, at rated flow conditions. Maximum pressure drop will be 600 mbar, depending on the quality of the influent gas. Normal element replacement is once per year
