Generally, if the liquid influent concentration was greaterthan a few hundred ppmw, a bulk separator such as a knock-out drum, mist eliminator, or vane separator was required upstream of the coalescer to remove large liquid droplets and a coalescer would be used to remove the small droplets (less than 5 micron).

The Ayater liquid/gas coalescer can handle high liquid loads, often eliminating the need for upstream bulk removal equipment.

The liquid-liquid coalescence separation technology is suitable for the separation of liquid-liquid substances that are incompatible with each other, have small viscosity and have a certain density difference. By using different materials for different liquid affinity, the extremely small liquid polymerization becomes larger and separated by gravity and buoyancy. Not only can greatly speed up sedimentation separation, but also can effectively remove liquid impurities in the emulsified state. Low cost, low energy consumption, no secondary pollution.
