Do not turn off the hydraulic system.

Determine which side of the filter is running.

Pull the lever away from the filter and rotate the lever 90° – the other side of the filter is now running.

Open the exhaust screw.

Sizes 40 – 140:

Unscrew the filter bowl on the side where it is no longer running (collect the liquid in a suitable container and clean or dispose of it according to environmental regulations).

Size 160 – 400:

Open the drain plug on the side of the filter that is no longer running (collect the liquid in a suitable container and clean or dispose of it according to environmental regulations) and unscrew the filter bowl.

Remove the filter element from the filter element nozzle of the filter head (check the surface of the filter element for contamination residues and large particles; These may indicate that the component is corrupted).

Replace or clean filter elements - Only W/HC (wire mesh) and V (metal fiber) elements can be cleaned.

Clean the filter bowl and filter head; Special attention must be paid to the thread.

Check the filter, especially the sealing surface, for mechanical damage.

Check the o-ring - replace if necessary.
