Basket Strainer For Piping Systems

Basket strainer for piping systems is used to filter the debris in the pipeline, and the area of the filter hole is 2-3 times larger than the area of the bore pipe, far exceeding the filtration area of Y-type and T-type filters. Its filter element is different from other elements, because it is shaped like a basket, so it is called a basket strainer. When the filter basket needs to be cleaned and replaced, as long as the detachable filter basket is taken out, cleaned and replaced, and re-inserted, it is easy to use and maintain.

Basket strainer for piping systems is mainly composed of a pipe, a main pipe, a filter basket, a flange, a flange cover and fasteners. As the liquid passes through the filter, its dirt is collected into the filter screen, and the clean fluid is discharged through the filter outlet. When the impurities accumulate to a certain extent and need to be cleaned, unscrew the screw plug at the bottom of the main pipe, drain the fluid, remove the flange cover, and reload it after cleaning.
