20 inches Pleated PP Filter Element has many optional end cap types, generally divided into double open (DOE) and single open (SOE) styles.
DOE has seals on both ends. When installing the filter element, make sure the gasket is not damaged and is properly installed in the grooves on each end of the filter element. If the seal is not tight and leakage occurs, the filter element will not filter properly.
SOE type has an O-ring attached to one end cap, which is gently rotated to move to the correct position, and an interface on the other side to prevent shaking. SOE seals are suitable for high-precision filtration.
