The separator cartridge is used as a second-stage/water separator for high-performance separation in the filter. After coming out of the coalescer, the medium passes through the porous separator cartridge while the water droplets are repelled by the hydrophobic surface. Water droplets settle into the filter/water separator sink for drainage.
The separator cartridges can be equipped with Teflon-coated ® screens or synthetic filter mesh holes. Separator cartridges with Teflon-coated ® screens can be reused after cleaning. Regarding coalescer element replacement, damage in a small area can be repaired.
