Automatic Backwash Disc Filter

The filtration process of the automatic backwash disc filter is that the sewage to be treated enters the filter unit from the water inlet, and the water flows from the outside of the filter disc group to the inside of the filter disc group. When the water flows through the channel formed by the annular edge, the particle size greater than the height of the prism is intercepted and stored in the space formed by the curved edge, the gap between the filter disc group and the shell. After filtration, the clean water enters the inside of the annular filter disc and is led out through the outlet. It has the advantages of good filterability, convenient maintenance, saving land occupation and good backwashing efficiency.

The automatic backwash disc filter has its own electronic control that controls all steps of backwash according to the time interval and pressure difference. Once set, it can be used for a long time.

The filter completes the entire automatic backwash process in seconds without interrupting the work. The backwash is automatically started by the set time or differential pressure signal, the backwash valve changes the direction of water flow in the filter unit, the spring on the filter element is opened by water pressure, and all the discs and the small pores between the discs are loosened.

The nozzle located in the center of the filter element sprays water in the tangential direction to rotate the disc, and under the action of the scouring of the water flow and the centrifugal force of the high-speed rotation of the disc, the objects trapped on the disc are washed out, so a good cleaning effect can be achieved with very little self-consumption.

Then the backwash valve returns to the filter position, and the spring on the filter element presses the disc again to return to the filter state. The backwash water is filtered by the system.
