Quartz Sand Filter Tank

The quartz sand filter tank mainly uses quartz sand as the filter material for filtration, and the impurities in the water are intercepted when the raw water passes through the quartz sand filter material, so as to achieve the purpose of filtration. It requires regular backwashing, and double or multi-tank sand filters can also provide uninterrupted water to the system at the same time during the backwash process. It has the characteristics of simple structure, large processing flow, less backlash times, high filtration efficiency, low resistance, convenient operation and maintenance.

1.Cylinder: mainly composed of upper head + straight section + lower head.

2.Water distributor: mostly using drilled pipe type, part of the increase of wedge mesh to prevent backwashing of running materials, so that the water to be filtered can be evenly distributed in the packing layer even under high flow conditions, to avoid impact on the filter material layer caused by unevenness, affecting the filtration effect.

3.Water collector: composed of perforated plate + filter cap.

4.Exhaust valve: used for the exhaust effect of the initial section of the equipment inlet water.

5.Inlet: There are two inlets in the filter, upper and lower, which is convenient for installing and replacing the water distributor and filter cap, the upper hole can be used to observe and add filter material, and the lower hole can be used for emptying and maintenance.

6.Pipeline: using external hanging type, the inlet and outlet pipes and backwash inlet and outlet pipes are arranged on the outer wall of the cylinder.
