Automatic Backwash Shallow Sand Filter

The automatic backwash shallow sand filter, consisting of a standard unit sand tank, is a unique device with automatic backwash that allows multiple high-speed sand tanks to be backwashed during normal operation. Fully automatic program control system for low water consumption, easy installation and simple operation.

When the system is activated in the filtration state, the unfiltered water will be evenly distributed through the self-developed water distributor and passed through the refined packing layer (granular quartz sand/garnet) in a laminar flow state. The packing layer filters out impurities in the water. Multiple water collectors are arranged at the bottom of the filter, which can evenly collect and lead out the filtered water to achieve advection filtration. This filtration method maintains good filtration results at high flow rates.

However, the accumulation of impurities in the packing layer increases the loss of the internal indenter. When the loss of inlet and outlet pressure heads meets the requirements, the system will automatically activate the constant pressure device to convert the filter to the backwash state. In this way, it can be backwashed one by one and cleans the accumulated impurities.
