The amine filter for chemical plants is designed to protect amine systems (sweetening, gas processing, syngas purification, CO2 capture) by removing submicron solids and liquid aerosols. It utilizes a multi-layer composite depth filtration media specifically selected for chemical compatibility with aggressive amines (MEA, DEA, MDEA, DGA) and high H2S/CO2 environments.

 

Working Principle

1. Mechanism: Contaminated amine flows from the outside to the inside of the cartridge.

Multi-Stage Capture: Larger particles trapped on the surface; finer particles and gels captured deep within the graded-density media matrix via adsorption and mechanical entrapment.
2. Result: Progressive loading maximizes dirt-holding capacity, extending service life and protecting downstream components like carbon beds or activated alumina from premature fouling. Maintains optimal amine clarity.
