The string wound cartridge filter consists of multiple fiber threads that are uniformly wound on a mandrel through a precise winding technique to form a multi-layer filtration structure. This structure provides a progressively larger pore structure that effectively filters a wide range of contaminants from large particles to microscopic particles. It is sparse on the outside and dense on the inside, which can realize multi-stage retention:

  • Physical interception: the outer layer captures large particles larger than 50μm, and the inner layer filters tiny impurities of 1-10μm.
  • Adsorption effect: the fiber surface adsorbs ultra-fine particles of 0.1-1μm with the help of electrostatic effect, the filtration efficiency is over 98%.
  • Differential pressure control: 10 inch standard cartridge under 0.15MPa, the flow rate is 1.2-2.5T/H, the initial differential pressure is only 0.02MPa.

2. Skeleton technology

  • Polypropylene (PP): lightweight design, applicable temperature ≤80℃, suitable for general industrial scenarios.
  • 316L stainless steel: pressure resistance 0.5MPa, temperature resistance ≤180℃, suitable for high temperature and high pressure working conditions.
  • Titanium alloy: 3 times higher corrosion resistance, used in marine engineering and nuclear power field.

3. Structure Optimization

  • Gradient winding process: change the porosity gradient by controlling the winding tension to improve the dirt holding capacity.
  • Honeycomb structure: Specific surface area reaches 1200m²/m³, increasing filtration efficiency by 25%.
  • End cap sealing: ultrasonic welding or hot melt adhesive sealing, leakage rate ≤ 0.001%.
