Our string wound sediment filters achieve deep gradient filtration by precision winding PP cotton, glass fiber and other special yarns onto polypropylene (PP) or stainless steel porous skeleton, forming a three-dimensional honeycomb structure that is tightened from the outside to the inside.

The string wound sediment filter is the optimal solution when your working conditions meet any of the following:

FAQ

 

Q: How to choose PP cotton vs fiberglass cartridge?

A: PP cotton: the king of cost-effective! Suitable for 80% room temperature water quality (<60° C), wide range of precision (0.5-50μm). Glass fiber: preferred for high temperature/strong corrosion scenarios (e.g. boiler water intake, acid wash filtration).

Q: Does the filter cartridge have to be replaced if it turns black?

A: On the contrary! Surface deposition means that the cartridge is working effectively and only needs to be replaced if the differential pressure increases by >0.3 MPa.
