P.3-559 Coalescer Element is designed to remove free water and emulsified water from aviation fuel while providing 1-micron particle retention capability. Constructed from hydrophilic media, this element causes minute water droplets to coalesce into larger droplets as fluid flows through it from the inside out. These larger droplets are then separated downstream, while fine particles are retained within the media, thereby protecting downstream filters and fuel system components.
