Contaminated amine fluid enters the filter housing and flows from the outside in through the filter cartridge. The depth filtration mechanism traps particles throughout the entire thickness of the media, not just on the surface. This maximizes dirt holding capacity and prevents premature plugging. Clean amine exits through the cartridge's inner core and returns to the process. The robust polypropylene cage provides structural integrity against high differential pressures common in amine service.
