Phenolic Resin Filter

Phenolic Resin Filter — coreless, graded-density cartridges for high-temperature, high-viscosity liquid filtration. High dirt-holding, stable flow, broad chemical compatibility.

Phenolic Resin Filter

Products Description

Phenolic resin filters utilize phenolic resin to bond acrylic or polyester fibers, enabling precise particle retention (1-200 μm) while maintaining structural integrity under 150 PSID. Ideal for providing reliable filtration in high-temperature and corrosive fluid environments.

Features

✅ Progressive-porosity depth matrix - outer zones capture bulk debris while inner zones trap fines, maximizing dirt capacity and service life.
✅ Phenolic-impregnated rigid body - bonded matrix resists collapse and maintains pore integrity under heat and shear (high-temp and viscous fluids).
✅ Long-staple fiber reinforcement - superior mechanical strength and minimal media migration for cleaner downstream product.
Coreless, one-piece design - no joint bypass, easier disposal and reliable sealing; configurable end fittings and gasket materials for chemical compatibility.

FAQ

Q: Will the filter shed fibers into my product stream?

A: Properly manufactured long-staple, fully-impregnated elements have negligible media migration; particulate release test data is available.

Q: Can these elements operate at continuous 145 °C?

A: Some high-temperature grades are rated to 145 °C. Performance and allowable ΔP decline with temperature; specify operating conditions to confirm suitability.

Q: Do you offer custom sizes or micron ratings?

A: Yes. Custom lengths, diameters, micron ratings and end fittings are available to meet specific housing and process needs.
