Ayater Coalescing Filter Element
In the oil and gas industry, the petrochemical industry and the oil refinery, liquid / gas coalescer filter are frequently used to remove liquids from gases such as seal gas, fuel gas, heating and cooling gas, injection gas as well as numerous technical gases. The coalescing filter element from Ayater consists of two layers, which fulfil different tasks: The first layer separates solids that may still be in the gas stream. In the second layer, liquid droplets are separated into a special tissue by coalescing the droplets.
Coalescer Filter Element Function
The small liquid droplets contained in the gas bond together on the fleece to form larger droplets (coalescence = compound). Gravity causes the droplets to flow down to the fleece fabric as soon as they have reached a certain size. The separated liquid can be collected and, if necessary, stored in a liquid container.
