The function of the air compressor filter element is mainly to enter the oily compressed air generated by the host into the cooler, enter the oil and gas filter element through mechanical separation for filtration, intercept and polymerize the oil mist in the gas, and form oil droplets concentrated at the bottom of the filter element and return to the compressor lubrication system through the oil return pipe, so that the compressor discharge is more pure.
The air compressed from the head of the screw compressor main engine is entrained with oil droplets of different sizes, large oil droplets are easily separated through the oil and gas separation tank, while small oil droplets (suspended) must be filtered through the micron glass fiber filter material of the oil and gas separation filter element. After the oil mist is intercepted, diffused and polymerized by the filter material, the small oil droplets quickly polymerize into large oil droplets, which pass through the filter layer under the action of pneumatics and gravity and settle at the bottom of the filter element.
